Garden Design
A full garden design consists of a number of stages. The design process starts with understanding your design requirements, then surveying and analysing the garden. In the concept design phase, draft plans and sketches are developed. Following client feedback, these are worked up into a fully specified final design which can be used to obtain quotes from landscapers.
Consultation
If you don’t want a full garden design but would like help envisaging your garden’s potential, then a consultation could be the option for you. I will visit your garden and spend some time discussing its potential with you. Following this I will write up our discussions including any sketches or plant references as appropriate.
Planting Design
As well as full garden designs I am happy to provide planting plans for a single border or the complete garden. I use the website Shoot gardening to provide clients with an accessible platform on which to view plant selection. At the end of the design process I will provide a care plan for all the plants. I source plants from reputable trade nurseries with biosecurity policies in place.
Garden Build
I can oversee all aspects of garden construction from the tendering process, to monitoring hard landscaping construction through to the planting. I work with a number of skilled local landscapers. I will quote as appropriate to your needs.
